Zeebrugge has a new railway connection to Bologna

Zeebrugge has since june of 2018 a new train connection with Bologna in Italy. It’s an intermodal railway connection between Bologna Interporto and C. Ro Ports Brittanniadok from the Cobelfret-group in Zeebrugge.

It is a weekly service. The train leaves on Wednesday in Zeebrugge and arrives at Bologna on Friday. By the end of this year the train will make three circulations per week. The train has a capacity of 34 ITUs. Once arrived at Zeebrugge the ITUs can be embarked easily on to the different destinations in the United Kingdom and in Scandinavian countries.

The railway service is developed by GTS and BLS
