As from 1 October the intermodal rail operator Hupac will raise the frequency between the P&O terminal in Zeebrugge and Novara in Northern Italy. The frequency increases from 6 to 8 services per week in both directions.
Hupac responds to the increasing demand for transport of megatrailers between Belgium and Italy.
In Zeebrugge the rail service connects to the regular freight services of P&O Ferries to Tilbury, Hull and Teesport.
This is the second raise in frequency on this route this year.
