As from 11 April intermodal rail operator Hupac raises the frequency between the P&O terminal in Zeebrugge and Novara in Northern Italy. The frequency increases from 5 to 6 services per week in both directions.
Hupac responds to the increasing demand for transport of megatrailers between Belgium and Italy.
In Zeebrugge the rail service connects to the regular freight services of P&O Ferries to Tilbury, Hull and Teesport.
Since last year Hupac also operates a rail service from the terminal of C.Ro in Zeebrugge and Novara. The frequency also amounts to 6 shuttles per week. The rail service connects to the CLdN/Cobelfret freight services to the United Kingdom and Ireland.
